ANA ANGEL'S ONLINE PORTFOLIO "Amor Calor Dador" a quote by the revolutionary Frida Kahlo. An artist and activist. Now an Icon and role model to many Latinas. She inspires me to be a lover of art, culture and live. And she inspires me to engage and seek my talents to "paint my own reality".

Last Semester of Grad School
Its unbelievable how time goes by so quick. I feel like just yesterday I sat in my first masters class feeling proud, anxious, nervous and excited. And not I feel like it is all almost over. I have grown so much. Being confident with what I know and proud to say I am a Chicana/o studyst/scholar. I have met some of the most amazing people in my program. Dedicated to their communities, working with youth and engaging in our field. I truly feel I have grasped the meaning of what applied Chicana/o studys means. I see my classmates applying their knowledge and our studys to their work. This is how we can begin to create positive change. I do not want this to end! I love my program, I love my advisors, my classmates and my field! It is a bittersweet moment for me as I begin the journey of writing my thesis project. This is how I can begin to give back and really look back at my semesters at SJSU. This is where I apply what I have learned, how I want to contribute to my field and what Chicana/o studys means to me. An abstract/ description of my project to follow soon!
